Ten years building a language of their own: a band of restless musicians where composition matters as much as the show. Brass, percussion, strings and voices at the service of original, varied and unmistakable arrangements that cross the Balkans, Latin America and India in a single journey. We invite you to listen.
Desmadre Orkesta is an Argentine band with a festive, eclectic and nomadic spirit, known for transforming every concert into a collective celebration. Their music offers a borderless journey, moving from Balkan brass traditions to Colombian cumbia, passing through swing and Buenos Aires milonga, always shaped by a strong popular identity and virtuosic arrangements.
On stage, music is only the starting point. Movement, dance and constant interaction with the audience are central elements of an intense, dynamic and participatory show, where the crowd becomes an active part of the experience.
Formed in 2016 in Buenos Aires for an immersive theatrical production, the band developed a strong scenic identity before expanding internationally, and released its debut album Seretlek that same year. In 2018 it began an ongoing international path with its first European tour. In 2019, the band released Vendaval, recorded at Monnow Valley Studios in Wales in collaboration with West One Music Group, and a finalist for Best Album of the Year at the UK Latin America Awards. Extensive tours followed across Europe, India and Southeast Asia, including a short but significant tour in Vietnam in 2023.
With the release of Sociedad Pawan (2023/2024), the band reflected years of travel and cultural exchange, blending Latin American melodies, European brass traditions and Indian influences. From 2025, Desmadre Orkesta enters a new artistic phase with the incorporation of a female lead vocalist, evolving into a mixed format that combines instrumental music and sung versions.
